Yesterday marked 3 years since that horrible day I had to say goodbye to Ziggy.
The "eulogy" of sorts that I wrote the day after is here:
Lotta thoughts and feelings and reflection and tears last night as I assembled this collage, having dug through some clusters of Ziggy-photos I had on facebook the last few months.
One of my coping mechanisms and processing of the loss the first year was weekly posts of photos of Ziggy. Reminding the world he lived, he was here. Celebrating his life.
That has continued the last two years, but with monthly posts.
And now it’s been 3 years.
And this collage represents photos from throughout the 7 1/4 years Ziggy was a part of my life. Most of these have become their own sort of "iconic" to me…certainly favorites.
Ziggy will certainly never be forgotten.
